The facility features a Small Theater with a capacity of 45, and two Group AV Rooms that can hold 10 and 20 people for concurrent viewing.
I. Eligibility
Current faculty, staff, and students of the University.
II. Opening Hours
Follows the opening hours of the Audiovisual Reading Room as announced by the Library.
III. Application and Usage
Usage Requirements:
Available for groups of 3 or more people. Reservations can be made in advance via the "Online Space Reservation Management System" or through on-site registration.
Reservation Period:
Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance.
Duration of Use:
Each session is limited to a maximum of 3 hours. Reservations are made in 1-hour increments.
Extensions:
If no other readers have reserved the space, a renewal can be requested 30 minutes before the session ends.
Check-in:
- Applicants must check in within the reserved time using a valid University ID card or the CCU Library APP mobile ID barcode.
- IDs cannot be exchanged or used by others; unauthorized entry is prohibited.
- If check-in is not completed within 15 minutes of the start time, the reservation is considered forfeited and the system will release the space.
- Cancellations:
- If you cannot use the room, please cancel online before the session starts or notify the Audiovisual Room 1 hour in advance.
- To cancel after the reserved time has started, please contact the Audiovisual Room directly.
IV. Usage Regulations
Purpose:
The rooms are for playing audiovisual materials only. Long-term borrowing or use as a regular classroom is not permitted.
Priority:
The Library may cancel reservations if the space is needed for major events.
Environment:
This is a public space; please keep quiet, use headphones, and set mobile devices to silent or vibrate.
Prohibitions:
Food and drinks are strictly prohibited inside.
Maintenance:
Use all equipment, furniture, and cables with care. Users must tidy the environment and take all personal items upon departure.
Copyright Compliance:
- Users must strictly follow the Copyright Act; illegal reproduction, downloading, or public performance is prohibited.
- Only Public Performance Version videos within the authorized scope may be played for non-profit purposes.
- Users bear full legal responsibility for any copyright violations.
V. Violations and Penalties
Damages:
Users are responsible for repair costs or the original price of the item if equipment or public property is damaged through improper use.
Loss of Rights:
Library staff may terminate usage immediately for violations.
Personal Property:
The library is not responsible for lost items.
Overstaying:
The library reserves the right to clear items left behind after the reserved time. Items must be reclaimed with a valid ID and will result in 1 violation point.
No-shows:
Failure to check in or cancel a reservation will result in the space being released and 1 violation point.
Please follow the relevant Articles of the Copyright Act to play the videos.
