Off - Campus Access Service

 

Chinese Culture University Campus VPN (Virtual Private Network)

 

  • This service is only for current faculty and students to use library e-resources from off-campus. Due to copyright rules, part-time teachers without classes this semester, alumni, or students on leave cannot use this service at this time.

  • Before using e-resources, please check if you need to sign in for off-campus access. Currently, except for desktop computers on campus, you must complete the off-campus sign-in to download full-text articles from databases if you are using campus Wi-Fi (via phone or laptop), the dormitory network, or your home internet.

  • Please refer to the link below for VPN connection instructions:

Campus Backup VPN (Windows, MacOS) or

Hwa Kang Cloud Computer service.

These will simulate a campus network connection, allowing you to use and download full-text database articles.

For Hwa Kang Cloud issues, contact the Office of Information and Communication at campus extension 16121 or 16124. For SoftEther VPN issues, contact the Office of Information and Communication at extension 16301.

  • Question: Why can't I log in after installation?

If you have installed successfully but cannot log in, please follow these steps to troubleshoot:

(1) First, check if your account and password were entered incorrectly.

(2) If they are correct, please go to "Information Service Activation" to synchronize your account and password.

(3) If you still cannot log in, please go to the Faculty or Student Portal to change your password (it must be different from your current one). After saving the change, you can change it back to the original password. The system will not accept it if you try to change it to the same password directly.

 

  • If you still cannot log in after changing your password, please call 2861-1801 ext. 16405.
  • For installation and usage issues at the Main Campus, call 2861-1801 ext. 16301. For Downtown Campus (SCE) students, call 2700-5858 ext. 8778 (Digital Learning Center).
